It was annoying waking up 15 minutes ago to the incessant verbal explosions of drunken people lounging outside my crib. But what’s even more annoying is that of all the possible ways I could have been disturbed, it had to be through a loud debate over the recent (sobrang gasgas na) Hayden Kho scandal. It’s on the newspapers, the radio, online forums and even on blogs (ahem). It’s on all local channels that it’s no use turning up the television’s volume in hopes of overshadowing the noise of the debate — which is still ongoing by the way. Stick a fork in it already demmit.
I’m tired of this issue and having to hear biased, or even unbiased, opinions over and over again. It seems to me that there’s another influenza that should be declared pandemic — the A-Hayden-Kho-Mania flu. Although people diagnosed with A-HKM1 flu face no life-threatening effects whatsoever, it is endemic enough to bother uninterested individuals like me. It is severe enough to send out cringes to my friends whose moms have asked them for assistance in downloading THE videos. It has even paved way for parents and sent them an indication to initiate THE talk.
OH THE HORROR OF ITS IMPACT.
Make it stop.
…although come to think of it, even if the Pinoys’ interest in the scandal dissipates, the media would still bore the nation with its equally tiresome news on graft and corruption. And those kinds of daily reports annoy me in just the same way. I guess that makes this whole rant on Hayden Kho to be utterly pointless. Sorry for wasting 2 minutes of your life.
eh.. kung ikaw nasa kinauupuan ni hayden kho, sa tingin mo ba matutuyo ang buhok mo within 30 seconds?
